About Us

The Canadian Council of Conservative Synagogues was incorporated in October 2008, and continues to grow from its initial four congregations. Our mandate is to build community, and to build communities of shuls, providing support for its members through programming, through educational initiatives, and through youth activities. We strive to do together what one congregation can't do alone.

Vision Statement
We strive to engage with God and embody the Jewish tradition from our ancestors through Torah (studies), Avodah (observance), and Gimilut Chasadim (action) within a halachically centered puralistic organization.

Mission Statement
To promote Conservative Judaism in a pluralistic manner by supporting its synagogues, institutions, and communities.
