Interfaith

Religious leaders from the G8 countries, plus leaders from Africa, Asia and Central/South America, have gathered at the University of Winnipeg to continue the interfaith dialogue that began with the G8 summit in 2005. These leaders will present a statement on behalf of the various religious groups urging the political leaders to keep humanitarian concerns in the forefront of their discussions, and to give voice to the most vulnerable populations of the world.
CCCS has been part of the process from its beginning in January 2009.  That is when the Interfaith Partnership was officially constituted as the body that will be hosting the Annual Interfaith Leaders' Summit. Visit www.faithchallengeG8.com to learn more.
